What's a Whim?

It's the tiny voice that pops up at exactly the wrong moment. Poke the cake. Blow out someone else's candles. Ring the bell one more time.

Blame the Whims is a short animated comedy about the harmless, ridiculous impulses we all know we shouldn't follow, and follow anyway. It seemed like a good idea at the time. It wasn't.

  • Pop. A Whim appears with a terrible idea.
  • Do it. Against all better judgement, it happens.
  • Uh-oh. Somebody notices.
  • Blame the Whim. Obviously.

Meet the cast

One everyday fox, one Whim with bad ideas, and the friends who keep ending up in the blast radius.

A perfectly reasonable fox. Right up until he isn't.

Tweak, a purple Whim with long ears in an olive jacket. Whim

Finn's Whim. Lives in a thought bubble. Has never once had a good idea.

Bramble, a brown bear in an olive hoodie.

Big, calm and unimpressed. Somehow always there when it happens.

Clive, a white rooster in a blue jacket and red scarf.

Calm, polite and very patient. Keeps ending up right next to Finn's worst ideas.

Pip, a small cream puppy with floppy ears, a white T-shirt, olive trousers and a green backpack.

Small, sweet and always happy to be there. Has no idea what Finn is thinking. Luckily.
